Good
We got the a pretty big room with a bathtub that we really liked. The location was also close to Ayala Mall so that is good. They also kept our luggage after checkout, which allowed us to go to an appointment without suitcase.
The first room we got had a stuffy, musky smell to it that we didn't like at all. We figured it must've been the carpet so we asked to switch rooms and got one without carpet. The smell was better there. Unfortunately the furniture is pretty outdated and the cleanliness was also not top notch. It all felt like a 4 star hotel from 30 years ago, that hasn't been renovated since and is slowly falling apart. The most disappointing part was the breakfast though. Most of it didn't taste good, and the toast was even moldy, which shocked me from such a hotel. Also we didn't get served water.

Clean, comfortable, pleasant stay.
The front desk staff were very helpful. Check-in and check-out were fast. They were also helpful answering my questions about public transportation. Our 11th floor room was a clean as it could be. Nothing showed any signs of wear or damage. I was surprised to find there was no hot water in the shower. I've stayed in other hotels without hot water so I tolerated it. After the room's aircon thermostat presented an irreparable fault which caused it to repeatedly set itself to 19 degrees and we were moved to another room, did I discover that the lack of hot water was an anomaly and not the norm.
The lighting in the room was inadequate. The lamps on the nightstands didn't provide enough light by which to read. There is live musical entertainment in the dining room, at too great a volume for the small area. The singer in the evening is talented and her accompanying guitar sounded great. I would have enjoyed it if I was 30 feet farther away.
